*Long post alert☺

Thank you

When I started this blog, it was not for the likes nor the awards. It was meant to be an outlet for the constant racing ramblings of my mind.

I was very surprised and pleased when Swati Mishra nominated me for both a one lovely blog award and the versatile blogger award.

I’m so chuffed that someone enjoys my blog enough to nominate me for not just one but two awards. Thank you Swati Mishra.

The likes, lovely comments and this kind nominations by Swati are very encouraging. I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone that has taken the time to read, like, comment, follow my blog and or nominate me for an award (😉😚thank you all).

Here’s just a little about why I love and follow Swati Mishra’s blogs. She blogs mostly about overlooked aspects of society. She speaks for the underdogs of the society and I find her write ups thought provoking. To get the Swati Mishra experience, visit her blog here; https://captivatingwritingpieces.wordpress.com.
Nominees

The best part of getting nominated for these awards is that I get to let everyone know about some of the blogs I enjoy reading. However I hate that I can only pick twenty five blogs (15 for the lovely blog award and 10 for the versatile blog award). What’s twenty five out of the hundreds of blogs I enjoy reading?! Other info for all nominees

Can I just say to all those nominated that I have nominated you because I really do enjoy visiting your blogs. Please do not feel compelled to continue the string of nominations. This is just to acknowledge and commend you on what you do ❤. But if you do take the time to nominate someone else whose blog you enjoy, I think that would be really nice.

Keep touching souls positively with your writing!!!

To the bit you have all been waiting for😎!
Facts about me:

1. Sorry to disappoint you but my aim is to share my writings anonymously …… at least for now😉. But there is no reason for you not to get to know this anonymous blogger just a little bit more😘 (See facts 2 – 7).

2. I love, love, love, Indian poetry, music and films. Oh Yes! I am a Bollywood addict. I want to say “namaste” and “mujhe tumse pyaar hai” to my fellow Bollywood fans…Yes you know what I’m talking about😉.

3. I am a hopeless romantic 😊. So you can see why the opulence and overt dramatic display of love that is the core of Bollywood movies appeals to me.

3. I still get quite confused about what the whole purpose of this life is. Sorry mom and dad, I know you tried really hard😚.

4. I am a Pisces…..may explain the romantic side of me and all that confusion☺.

5. I get a tad bit amused at the way feminism is abused and over hyped by a lot of people these days. Seriously folks?! But then one of the many joys of this world, is sifting through a wide variety of opinions😃.

6. I wish I had more time for my writings.

7. I believe we should all be politicians. I think good people are not interested in politics or is it that politics corrupts you? I can see another confused train of thought emerging there….please forgive me. Nonetheless, imagine what a better world it would be if we all took an interest in politics and we all get a say (assuming my belief that there is a higher ratio of sane to insane people is true). Fellow bloggers/writers, we would actually be able to decide our fate and that of future generations not just from the hidden pages of a book lost in a growing pile.

That’s all folks. Thank you for taking the time to read through…..*drops mic*…😃

  1. I love your answers, Aweni. I especially agree that not too many good people want to be politicians. Looking at the politics in U.S., I couldn’t bounce back even once by all the bully and criticism that try to discourage anyone running for a position.
Thank you for your nomination!! Since my blog is “Award Free” blog, I’ll reblog this to acknowledge your nomination!
