Dare to love

Love

Bridgerton season 2 tells the tale of a man too scared to love and a woman who thought she could live without having ever loved. As if…

One of my favourite quotes of the season was lady Danbury’s take on the famous quote ‘it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.’ On being questioned as to whether she was content as a widow or not by Kate Sharma in a bid to justify why she (Kate) would not pursue love or romance, lady Danbury answers, “I am a widow. I have loved. I have lost. I have earned the right to do whatever I please, whenever I please and however I please to do it. Child, you are not me. And if you continue down this road, you most certainly never will be.”

Loving someone is indeed taking a risk but one very well worth the ride as Lady Danbury very eloquently tells us.

So I dare you to love deeply and fiercely.
For to do so is to truly experience living.

Best of luck in your pursuits.
